Seven years in executive recruitment taught me how senior leaders make decisions on growing their business and growing teams. I successfully placed CEOs, MDs/GMs and Director/VPs for leading public companies.
I then career changed to an industry I was passionate about, technology startups. I restarted from the ground up to learn what the market needs, and how we can solve their problems with our product.
Four startups later, three Y-Combinator-backed hypergrowth companies (two became unicorns), I have been the first cohort of sales hires ready to grow after achieving product-market fit, to being the first sales leader hire to prove PMF, build the sales playbook and grow the team. Each time unfamiliar market unproven product no playbook just hypothesis testing and relentless iteration.
